| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 8, 2009 Pours a hazy golden orange with a large white head that sticks around. Aroma is mostly of pilsner malts, with just a touch of light fruit. Yes, this is very consistent with the dubbel and tripel in that it’s just a smaller version; light fruits and spice in flavor. Authentically Belgian with the yeast strain. Spritzy mouthfeel, medium density. I like it. Nothing new; pretty much in line with all the other smaller Belgians, and I’m perfectly okay with that. Overall, good to very good. nickd717 (1413), Palo Alto, California, USA
