| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 11, 2006 Seems I like this quite a bit more than most. I am not a Belgian Ale expert, but I thought the honey and fruit flavor with a big spicey finish make this a very good, drinkable beer. zebracakes (1219), Washington DC, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 28, 2006 Nice looking beer with a long-lasting dense head, and a beautiful opaque yellow colour. Also a very nice aroma with yeast, wheat, malt, and a little bit of apples. Yeasty and wheaty flavor, with quite a lot malt sweetness, and maybe a little too obvious alcohol, for a blonde. However, it is stronger than blondes usually. The aftertaste is malty, sweet, has a good amount of alcohol, but also an unfortunate metallic finish. A nice beer, but the metallic finish is lowering it a couple of points.
