This poured a lovely, clear deep golden colour, with a medium sized white fluffy head that went away at a medium pace. The nose is very hefeweizenish, yeasty, kinda fruity, yet dry, with distinct notes of banana, bubblegum and cloves. Nice. The taste is a bit of a letdown, yeasty/spicey, sweet, cloves, banana and bubblegum again, some metallic hints with a low key, but persistent hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite interesting, good even, better than Leffe Blonde, but not flashy. I could swear this has wheat in it... The bottle looked different than the picture here, so i guess it’s the french "version".... dj (422), Gloucestershire, England

A musty, hoppy aroma with hints of banana. The taste has more hops and banana with some sweet malts in the finish. High carbonation. Nice. mtdshn (174), Moline, Illinois, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 1, 2006 Bottled. Slightly hazy, golden beer with an off-white head. Malt, cellar and fruits in the aroma. Some metal too. The flavor starts with some alcohol, then spices, malt and hops. Medium body and a dry finish. Ok, it’s better than the regular Norwegian pilsner, but when compared to other Belgians, it doesn’t stand out from the crowd. (060623) Nekronos (2265), Xalapa, Mexico
