Bottled. Slightly hazy, golden beer with an off-white head. Malt, cellar and fruits in the aroma. Some metal too. The flavor starts with some alcohol, then spices, malt and hops. Medium body and a dry finish. Ok, it’s better than the regular Norwegian pilsner, but when compared to other Belgians, it doesn’t stand out from the crowd. (060623)

Draft at San Diego Brewing Company. Golden yellow in color with a decent head. aromas were citrus and some candy sweet fruit. Flavors were similar with a lot of refreshing bright fruit and just a touch of hops to make it decent. Not bad.

Middle of the road belgian. Tasted on tap at Max’s in Baltimore. Yeast spiciness and loads of grainy flavors, nothing really stands out.

(bottle - 12 oz) Cloudy gold color with a load of lasting and fizzy white foam. Very carbonated. Aroma is very light with some yeast and spices to it. Yeast and spices are prevalent at the front of the flavor. The middle has a touch of alcohol and a smooth yeasty flavor. Finish is slightly spicy. Leaves a touch of spice and bitterness on the palate. Thin to medium-bodied.

On tap at Fat Jacks. Aroma is peach and apricot with apple. The appearance is cloudy dark yellow-gold with thick but quick dissolving head. The flavor is pineapple, pear, apple, apricot, and peach juice. Good wheat and carmel malt flavors as well. Mouthfeel is slightly oily thick and smooth.

330 ml. Pours to a hazy gold, dense white head. Good aromas, yeast and fruits. Not a lot of hops here. Quite sweet and well rounded. Drinkable without being thin or watery. Very nice this one.
