Flavor is carbonated, orange peel citrusy flavor, some bitter hops are present, doesn’t mask the alcohol well, how ever good body, and still a good brew. JudgeDread (16), Minnesota, USA

Medium bodies with a good balance of hop bitterness. Nice dark golden color with a thick creamy white head. Watch the alcohol it will sneak up on you. jsou (20), Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA

Affilgem is no exception. Very drinkable. You wouldn’t know this is 7% abv...until you drink a few. Wonderful aroma. Great looking & tasting. JFowler (30), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA

Fruity start with a very slight hop finish.I found that if you pour this in a big glass and let the head dissapate it is much better. GG (1645), NorCal, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 6, 2006 Poured this one into my Chimay goblet. Incredibly huge and thick dense head creeps up and it doesn’t dissipate very quickly. The color of pale gold with a TON of bubbles is the best way to describe it. Mouthfeel is medium bodied. You can almost feel the bubbles after you’ve swallowed, nearly like a pop rock sensation. Flavor is yeasty, very crisp, very clean and slightly sweet. This was enjoyable and I’d probably get it again once empty my current stock. JHunter (246), British Columbia, Canada

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 30, 2006 Golden colour, a little unclear, white head. Fast collapsing? Malty aroma with notes of yeast (and wheat?). Sweet flavour, malty, a touch of vanilla?, notes of (soapy?/ perfumy?) hops in the finish. Hides the ABV very well. alaskanwarren (286), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
