Nov 3, 2004 This is a great all around beligian beer. Has a very nice spicy texture to it. You can taste the classic beligian yeasty champagne flavor really well. Head also pours a nice and fluffy.

Feb 19, 2006 Very tasty spiced beer with plenty of esters. Medium bodies with a good balance of hop bitterness. Nice dark golden color with a thick creamy white head. Watch the alcohol it will sneak up on you.

Oct 20, 2007 Bottle. Golden with billowy white head and abundant lacing. Yeasty bready belgina style aroma, some banana and spice. Spicy flavor profile with the expected belgian yeast character. High carbonation gives a overly crisp bite easily mistaken for bitterness, hotness or acidity. Drink this at cellar temps. Bite settled down once it warmed some. Very solid beer and adequete supplied with alcohol which is hidden well.

Dec 29, 2008 Bottle. Cloudy deep straw color with a large airy head. Beautiful spicy-fruity aroma evokes bubblegum wrapper, flowers, and musk. The flavor combines spice, rum, and maple with hints of banana, galangal, and clove. There is a "taste" of sugar without actually being sweet. On the tongue, the beer feels rich, doughy, and electric with spice and carbonation. Peppery aftertaste is also barley vegetal. Very nice.
