FishManLA (149), Abita Springs, Louisiana, USA Apr 17, 2008 Updated: Apr 18, 2008 Poured a murky tan/blonde with little head. Fruity nose of pear and fig. Yes, fig. Pear and fig carries over into taste with definite notes of fresh baked bread as well. Slightly tart but pleasant finish that’s hard to precisely define. An interesting and very enjoyable Belgian Ale.
nimbleprop (551), Washington, Washington DC, USA Jul 9, 2008 Pours a transparent gold with a foamy white head and tight, small bubbles reflecting plenty of carbonation. Nose is mild but there is some Belgian candy, yeast, bananas, some malt, and some perfume. Flavor is similar, a little sour, malt, yeasty with some sweetness. A little chalky on the palate. Very drinkable, but a little bland. azlondon (461), Greater London, England Jun 27, 2008 Appearance: Orangy brown. Quite a lot of head.

Info: 330ml bottle, 6/8-2006, 141/300 The_Captain (234), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 24, 2008 11.2 oz bottle poured in tulip glass. Nice carbonation, sudsy foam head-thin and fizzy from start to finnish. Orange tinge with a thin pallet. Crisp and slight citrus notes with a light hop presence. Had a bit of a nut-grain quality but not really standing out, even with the yeast from the bottom. Dry-semi sweet finish. kiefdog (305), Tampa, Florida, USA Jun 22, 2008 33cl bottle from Publix Supermarkets (Tampa, FL). Rated on 3/24/08.
