33cl bottle from Noel Cuveliers, Abele. I drank this in a SAS Radisson hotel room at Stansted Airport. Russet colour with thick huge beige head, that keeps growing lick the pudding Woody Allen makes in Sleeper. Some malt on the aroma. Very basic, simple, not that interesting. Bit of sweetness. Some tingle on finish. Some candy sugar. Fine if dull. ABV was 6.8%

Chocolatey brown colour with rich roasted malt aroma. Bittersweet roasted taste with flavour of malt and spices. Quite high carbonation gets the flavours working around the mouth.

Bottle. 6.8% alc. by vol. Dark red-brown colour with a long lasting big creamy light brown head. A little sour fruity aroma with alc. caramel and sweet roasted malts. Champagnish mouthfeel. Smooth flavour of sweet caramel, toasted malts, some alcohol, fruitiness, some bitterness in the finish. Bit sweet metallic aftertaste. A great great tasty brew!

Rød brun øl, brygget på normal belgisk gær. Duft: Krydret, belgisk og let sprittet. - let karamel Smag: Stærk, meget syrlig, krydret - ikke så tung som andre klosterbryg. Bitter eftersmag. For meget kulsyre.

Bottle. Deep reddish brown, hazy with big yaest particles floating around, small light beige head. Wonderful raosted malt aroma with notes of dried fruits, oranges, and yeast. Medium bodied and smooth. Very well balanced with a dry finish. Much better than Affligem Blond.
