Browncoloured beer. Aroma mainly of caramel. Sweetish taste, finishes quite bitter.A bit on the thin side. Decent dubbel, but has absolutely no character, it tastes good but really has nothing of its own.

A first rate dubbel, with a fair amount of depth in flavor and palate. A world-class contender

Bottle. Deep amber (almost brown) in colour. Aroma of light chocolate, caramel and brown sugar. The flavour was of light chocolate and caramel malt, some yeast, slightly sweet with some dark fruits. Lightish body, medium carbonation. Finishes with a light bittermess.

Amber-brown color with cream colored head. Nose is malty, has hints of raisins and dark sugar. Also spices in the aroma and a slight bitterness. Taste is round, malty, light sweet, has hits of fruits and end with a round bitter accent.

Transparent burgandy/amber, disappearing small near white head. Powerful astringent alcohol aromas (scotch, vodka) conceal most everything else. Hints of chocolate, caramel, malt, champagne grapes. Flavots of malt, milk chocolate, nutiness, overcome quickly by alcohol finish.

Pours dark amber with light head. transparent. Smells of alcohol and chocolate. Malty taste, first sip very fizzy and carbonated. The following sips were more smooth and less fragrant as the glass finished
