This is pretty dang good. Pours a dark reddish brown color with a foamy light brown medium sized head. Nose is malty and sweet with dark fruits and spice. Taste is pretty smooth and very well balanced... at 9 percent the alcohol content is pretty well hidden and the finish is nice a warming. Everything was one point with this beer.

Cloudy brown beer with a huge rocky tan head. Big aromas of sweet malt and spices. Malty palate, with caramel and a little cocoa, lots of sweet spices, some plummy fruit as well. Smooth, and not a hint of its bruising alcohol. Delicious!

Ruby brown with a grey head. Dried fruits in the aroma, with some cinamon. The flavour is very sweet: syrup, sugar cane, butter, oranges, alcohol and dades.

Poured a brown cloudy color with good head and solid lacing. Aroma was full of dark fruits and spices. Flavor was much the same with some cocoa in there as well. Solid beer.

Brown...lingering small head of different sized cluster bubbles. Caramel malt aroma. I’ve been drinking this for many years and it’s always good. This is a fresh batch but it ages well. Rich and smooth like a St. Bernardus or other smooth Belgian brown or strong ale. Some spice, raisin, bitter fruit rind, candy sugar, hops...nice balance.

Draught @ Den Tatoverede Enke, Copenhagen. Pours a clear dark amber color with a small off-white head. Spicy malty aroma with hints of dark fruit. Sweetish malty dark fruit flavor with some spicy hints. Long warming sweetish malty spicy finish with a slightly bitter aftertaste.
