Bottle: Poured a reddish brown amber with a light brown head. Nutty aroma with sweet hints of spice. Sweet nutty caramel malt flavor with a dry finish.

good, but not great. Poured a nice brownish-amber hue with a beige color head that seem to last forever. Aroma was a mix of bubblegum and banana. Flavor was mainly bubblegum with some hints of spices and alcohol. Medium bodied.

A very nice belgian winter brew. Has a nice marty base that gives a rich aromas. Appearance is dark brown with a thick, very thick head. Mouthfeel and flavor is very malty with a nice aftertaste thats high in alcohol. Overall a very nice winter brew.

Pours an orangy brown with a decent sized head that quickly goes away. Fruity aroma of mostly pears apples and bananas, but there’s a subtle nutty brown sugar behind it. expected aroma. Taste is surprisingly light. First some nuts and caramel, then tart/sourish bananas and apple. Finishes tingly and dry, with too much yeast presence. slightly abrasive at first. Decent but unremarkable mouthfeel. The flavor upfront is the best part, but even then, this feels like a blend of a completely average dubbel and tripel.

Dark brown. Large, spongey, rocky, tan head. Caramel, dark fruits, light spice, bready yeast. Unspectacular. Medium/full body, balanced, creamy yet foamy. Caramel coloring added point deduction.

750 ml bottle. Lots of fruit on the aromas. Banana and cherry. Spicy too. Spice carried through to the flavor where I also got some tartness and caramel. Alcohol on the finish with a decent bitterness. Not too bad.

pours a very nice dark amber with a fluffy stable tan head. Very thick. I get some cinnamon, caramel, spices, and sweet malts in the smell. Tastes like Christmas. Spices galore. Cinnamon, hazelnut. Kind of short on the finish though, seems to be missing a little something. Kind of leaves a bitterness in the back of the mouth which i didnt really care for. The caramel color added was pretty lame. Put that shit on the back of the beer label not right out front.

Cloudy dirty brown body with particles topped by a small tan ring of foam. The cake malts and fruity flavours (berries and such) blend together for a black-forest cake taste. The spices are rather timid for a christmas beer but it leaves all the room for a pleasantly hoppy finish. 9% is apparent. Another reason to love this only-once-a-year tradition that is christmas, although according to Wall-Mart it lasts three months.
