bottle at Fort Wayne tasting - Pours cloudy brown with a huge head that leaves some good lacing. It smells of malt, yeast, and some mild spice. The taste is moderately sweet with the yeast and spices putting in another appearance. It’s good, but did seem a little lacking in flavors to me.

Aroma of spices and yeast. Pours a hazy brown with a nice head. Flavor of yeast, spices, and some bitterness. Palate is decently smooth. Not a bad seasonal, but I tried Delirium Noel the previous night. Delirium wins out on flavor, aroma, and complexity.

Dark amber tan fluffy head. Nose is peper and maybe other spices, with yeast. Tasste is like the nose. The % is constant but not a distraction. Nice brew.

Uh, yeah, this is proof that my local beer store guy hordes shit and then puts it out at odd times. A christmas ale in the middle of september. Gotcha. Oh well, this one was pretty nice actually. Brown with a huge tan head. Smell is yeasty, and spicy. Taste is smooth and rich, with many holiday spices blended in. This beer makes me wish it was christmas time already, love the winter ales. No idea what the age on this beer is, probably from last year. Very nice.

Ahhhh yes,the wonderful aroma of Belgian yeast strains that have worked there magic. Ripe pears teamed with aromatic spice not unlike Christmas mulling spices. Deep amber brew that was a treat aftre all the nasty brews I have tortured myself with lately.Savored and enjoyed.

Not sure how old the botlle was I had, it seemed like it had a bit of age on it. Pours dark hazy brown with a nice brown head. Aromas had earthy creamy toffee with some anise - very rich and dessert-like. Medium to full bodied beer with lots of soft carbonation delivering the flavors well. Taste has caramel malt, earthy yeast and lots of creaminess. Anise comes out on the finish as some sourness, some hoppy bitterness and earthy Belgium yeast. Alcohol is very well hidden in this one. Nice Belgium winter ale.

2 year old bottle. Poured a hazy brown copper color. Malty aroma with notes of golden raisins and light alcohol. Malty sweet flavor with caramel notes. Nice warming sensation with a lively mouthfeel.
