Dec 9, 2004 Draught: This one is a dark amber color. It was also fairly clear with a minimal amount of head. the aroma has a bit of malts, with some spices and maybe some dark fruits. A somewhat spicy taste to go along with their typical sweetness. This was actually quite nice for a standard bar beer.

Dec 7, 2004 Dark red color with a thin head. Aroma is filled with wheat and malt. There is a slight bread taste, but not much else going on. Decent, but a bit too subdued.

Dec 1, 2004 pours a huge tan head that still has not calmed completly down yet and its been about 5 minutes.i couldnt get much out of the aroma except for yeast.luckily the flavor saved this one.nice belgian yeast blended with spices and carmel malts.pretty damn good i must say.

Nov 30, 2004 Picked up at Whole Foods in Austin, Tx. Pours a dark chestnut brown, slightly murky with a tight, frothy, mocha colored head. Malty aroma with some dates and raisins. Flavor has some toffee elements with a bit of underlying chocolate. Faint notes of spices, very faint, on the back end with mint as well. Mouthfeel is pleasant and creamy. A very pleasant diversion, good winter warmer.

Averagily large, frothy, light brown head, which is mostly diminishing. No lace. Red-brownish, clear body. Lots of particles of average size. Nose of cookies. Lightly sweet, moderately bitter initial flavour. Lightly bitter, lightly sweet finish. Lightly alcoholic. Fully bodied. Oily texture. Lively carbonation. Nice aroma, but disappointing flavour.
