Body is a hazy mahogany with big chunks of suspended yeast, head is tan and fizzy. Aroma is yeasty and bready, some candy sweetness and citrus as well. Flavor is very sweet, with light hoppy notes and a touch of sourness at the end. Alcohol really comes through in the finish. Palate is a touch overcarbonated.

Head is initially small, fizzy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy dark amber, bottle conditioned. Aroma is moderately malty (caramel, cookie), moderately yeasty (cobwebs, mold), with notes of orange, toffee, and coriander. Flavor is heavily sweet, lightly bitter, moderately acidic. Finish is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic.

Dark chestnut brown, with some lovely reds and darker browns. Good white creamy head, fairly low carbonation. Smells of yeast, and lots of estery candi. Big caramel rush as well, on the nose. Flavor begins oddly wet, some earthiness but then quickly develops a sweeter caramel flavor. Lightens as it warms, with some red fruits, more caramel and moderate phenols. Flavor is all over the place and quite pleasant. Mouthfeel is the highlight though, soft and creamy, with a velvety sweetness. Dosent end too dry or too sweet. Just a well-balanced, solid belgian.

Deep orange/brown with a creamy tan head. Dark sweet berry nose. Flavors of burnt caramel, dark candi sugar, plums, grapes, with a spicy yeast bight to it. Very well balanced and a very pleasant drink.

A mild nose with a smooth, creamy taste. Round and malty with effervescent carbonation. Spicy with hints of coriander. Just okay, in my opinion.
