Bottled. A deep red beer with a huge orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel as well as lighter notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and yeast, leading to a dry spicy finish.

(Bottle 33 cl) Hazy, light brown beer with a light brown head. Malty, slightly perfumy nose - coriander? Lovely flavour of roasted malt, yeast and lots of caramel. Weak, bitter finish. A bit too carbonated. But quite lovely.

Bottled. Hazy nut brown, rich beige head. Strawberry esters dominate the nose. Sweet with some papery malt. Bold, somewhat clumsy malt character, lightly resiny finish. A bit simplistic.

33 cL bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Pours clear and golden brown with a huge tan head. Aroma is yeasty and caramel/toffee malty. Sweet caramel malty and light yeasty fruity with a mild liqourice note. Lingering malty finish with a lasting yeasty impression.

Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20081005]

Bottle. Very metallic aroma. Clear chestnut brown colour, looks flat. Light brown head, quite unstable. Peppery flavour, some liquorice. Slightly slimy mouthfeel. Dryish aftertaste which I find quite unpleasant.
