33 cL bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Pours clear and golden brown with a huge tan head. Aroma is yeasty and caramel/toffee malty. Sweet caramel malty and light yeasty fruity with a mild liqourice note. Lingering malty finish with a lasting yeasty impression.

Clear medium to dark red amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, moderate yeasty, dark fruit, raisin, prune. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20081005]

Bottled. A deep red beer with a huge orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel as well as lighter notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and yeast, leading to a dry spicy finish.

(Bottle 33 cl) Hazy, light brown beer with a light brown head. Malty, slightly perfumy nose - coriander? Lovely flavour of roasted malt, yeast and lots of caramel. Weak, bitter finish. A bit too carbonated. But quite lovely.

Bottle, 33 cl. @ ’t eenvoudig bestaan. Clear dark brown color, with nice creamy beige head. Aroma malts, yeast en a little bit liquorice. Medium body. Taste is very regular brwon ale, malts, little sweet, bit coriander ?, bitterness. Afteratste dry. Not bad.

Bottle, Brussels, May 2005. Head is initially large, frothy, off-white, mostly lasting. Body is medium reddish-brown. Aroma is moderately malty (cookie, caramel), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with notes of clove, coriander, and orange peel. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation, lightly alcoholic.
