Aroma flowery, honey and some malty. Nice well balaced hops and sweet malt. Very nice belgium ale. Little more carbonation it looks but it is good i think. charlotte (1996), Vanløse, Denmark Jun 8, 2009 Bottle.Hazy golden colour with fluffy white head.Aroma is fruity and yeasty, with fresh note of coriander and hops.Medium carbonation and fresh finish. Slayer85 (582), Firenze, Italy May 6, 2009 Bottle. A clear medium golden beer with a big, rocky and persistent white head. Quite good aroma with a nice hoppiness and some malt. There are notes of grass, citric fruits, orange peel and spices. The flavour has not much sweetness, and has a light acidity. Hops prevail, and there is a certain spiciness. Quite good mouthfeel, light to medium body, lively carbonation, dry and enough long finish with medium to high bitterness. Among the hoppy belgian blonde ales, this is maybe one of the last choices, but it is nice and drinkable. kwatoko (30), Belgium Apr 17, 2009 Bottle. Light golden color with nice large head. Hoppy aroma. Taste is soft and hoppyh, nicely carbonated. TEJA (281), Stockholm, Sweden Mar 27, 2009 A bottle that I had forgotten and was 3 years over best before date. Big white foam that fast goes down to a lasting lase. Small amount of solids. Small plesent typical belgian phenolic aroma. Yeasty taste with medium body. Eaven though the age it is still fresh. CapedBrewsader (259), Brasschaat, Belgium Feb 17, 2009 33cl bottle at home: Brilliant old gold with a massive, slowly fading, yellowed head. First impressions are of earthy hops wrapped in tinfoil. Wow, really aluminum character with hops and some breadiness. Yeast is quite abundant in the nose as well with some alcohol fighting its way through. Taste starts out with brad, yeast and pretty sharp tinny hops. Can’t get away from this metallic character. Alcohol, bread and biscuit take you through the middle to a nicely hoppy (for a belgian) finish. Light mouthfeel. A bit of raw earth in the back of the throat with tin and hops working their way back to meet the earth. The metal seems to work itself out in the flavor but never leaves the aroma.
