Bottle from Bitter Virtue. An uncomplicated but pleasant spicy belgian blonde. peppery coriander and sweet fruity yeasts on the nose. Not quite as sweet as the smell with a little mild hops. Not bad.

Tasted 04/03/2008. 330ml bottle fro Rumble’s, Wellington. Pours a hazy amber blonde, with an off white head that laces and throws off some spicy alcohol, green banana and barley sugar. In the mouth it is sweet and spicy, with the esters dominating and cleaning out the finish. Pepper and liquorice finish it out. Fairly highly carbonated. Peppery phenolics hang about. Simple and nice.

Bottled@Kerstbierfestival, Essen. Yellow colour, not much head. Aroma is grass, fruits, some maltyness along with some flowery hops. Flavour is acidic fruits, some bitter hoppyness as well as mild spicyness.

(Bottled@Kerstbierfestival 2007, Essen) Clear golden with a medium, creamy head. Pale-malty, acidic aroma with some hop bitterness. Bitter-hoppy, pale-malty, acidic flavor, with lemony-grassy acidity dominating the finish. Light to medium-bodied, acidic palate with medium, slightly fizzy carbonation. A nicely hoppy, but light and acidic brew.
