Flavour is slightly spicy - perhaps corriander? The bottle expired in 2001 so maybe some of the flavour was lost in the years. Finish is particularly metalic and tartly alcoholic. Quite a decent beer. Appearence is gorgeously cloudy, with a nice thick initial head and decent lacing. Glouglouburp (2826), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 2, 2006 Clear golden body with a small white head. Aroma is very typical blonde tripel (although it is not technically a tripel). Yeasty, some honey, a tad sweet, bready pale malt, some lemon/citrus. Nothing new, by the book belgian blonde/tripel. It’s like that polite kid that sat in front of you at school, everybody can only say good things about him yet you can’t find anyone who remembers his name. Papsoe (14996), Frederiksberg, Denmark
