Lovely dark gold color. Yeasty undertones amidst a medium pale malt body. Some mustard seed and a clear hop end that I appreciated - leaves a sharp biting bitter like orange peel, dryish too. Quite good

Tap, Café De Engel Oldenzaal. Served too cold, so it’s hard to detect any aroma. But the flavor is hoppy and creamy, with just a bit of malty sweetness and pepper. Simple, but nice and well balanced. Hoppy aftertaste with a hint of peach. Bottle: Hoppy, oily, just a bit flowery aroma and flavor. Citric, hoppy, oily aftertaste. Absolutely lovely beer!

Clear blonde coloured, thin lacing. Faint aroma, some hops i think. Flavour is sweet with some malts. Unimpressive brew.

Nice hazy dark-blond beer with fine creamy head.Good aroma’s of fine malt and hops.In the nose a little touch of buttercakes and fine spices. The taste is very smooth and has a fine sweetness. This is a medium boddied beer with a good freshness a nice taste and fine bitterness in the end.

Bright dark copper color; creamy head. Malty aroma, sweet, mature, quite fruity (red grapes). Very smooth, balanced, but slips a bit thin in the end. Anyway, a nice bitterness.

Head is large, frothy, off-white, mostly lasting. Body is clear dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, cookie), moderately hoppy (flowers, lemon), with a note of coriander. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, heavily bitter. Medium body, velvety/watery texture, lively carbonation, moderately alcoholic.
