| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 8, 2007 Aroma is spicy, yeasty with notes of banana and clove and a little bit of metal and skunk? Pours a nice gold with a big head. Flavor is very yeasty and spicy with fruity notes and some alcohol and metal. Not a huge fan of this one. It is not as drinkable as others in this style. Too much skunk and metallic notes take away from what is going on here. Hammster (187), Eagan, Minnesota, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 30, 2007 750 ml bottle. Poured a murky orange brown with a medium sized fluffy head. Great aroma--lots of spice and citrus--sweet malts and yeast. Reminds me of Kwak but a little more mild. Taste is pretty heavily spiced but smooth and not too acidic and doesn’t have too much citrus. This beer is very much underrated. If this were all Affligem made, the brewery would have a bettter reputation. A close second to many beers that I love. RaphaelN (195), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 26, 2007 Bottle shared with a friend. Golden pour. Fair amount of head, with a fresh scent of cumin, coriander and apples on the nose. Taste is dominantly of bananas and citrus, along with malt and spices. Much better than the rest of Affligem’s offerings by a fair margin. robinvboyer (1436), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 5, 2007 Pours a golden yellow with a good sticky froathy white head. The aroma is yeasty, and spicey. The flavour mirrors the aroma with some a bit of dough, alot of spice, and some sour fruit. A decent beer, but again, dissapointing for a trappist beer. A abbey tripel in my experience is usually much much better than this.
