| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 5, 2007 Pours a golden yellow with a good sticky froathy white head. The aroma is yeasty, and spicey. The flavour mirrors the aroma with some a bit of dough, alot of spice, and some sour fruit. A decent beer, but again, dissapointing for a trappist beer. A abbey tripel in my experience is usually much much better than this. Furseth (1334), Kungälv, Sweden

Hazy golden color with bubbly white foam, horrible retention and lacing. Lots of green apple in the aroma, little hint of yeasty spiciness. Flavor is fairly dry with more green apple, little hints of honey and hops in the finish. A bit thin for the style. Carlus12 (361), London, Greater London, England

Non buona._______________ENGLISH TEXT HERE____________33cl bottle bought at Coop in Brescia; color is deep blond, with little but persistent white head. Aroma is nice and even genuine, if it wasn’t for a note of alcohol you can notice from the first time; flavor instead is dominated by alcohol, and this overwhelms the style characteristics and makes it a very disappointing brew (in the Affligem tradition...). | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 12, 2007 750 ml. brown, Belgian bottle. Corked & caged. No freshness date seen. This sample was a little stale to be honest. Loud pop released the cork. Poured out a hazy Orange/yellowish color, with a big white head. Aromas are of Belgian funk, citrus fruits, orange peel. Flavors are of citrus peel, earthy hops, barnyard malts. Medium mouthfeel, medium body. Not the freshest Tripel I ever had, that much is certain.
