| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 27, 2005 Sparkling, lightly hazed golden colour. Rocky head - big, frothy and white. The nose is big and sweet with yeast and fruit. Candyish with light pepper and a touch of organic hops. The body contains a solid hop bitterness at the front which carries into the middle. Nicely warming with a light maltiness that does’t really come out. A bit too bitter for a triple, I thought. CaptainCougar (5544), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Aroma has a strong, candy-like, Belgian malty caramel aroma with lots of bready yeasty esters. Body starts rich and bready with lots of sweetness leading to a dry, yeasty, candi sugar finish. Nicely balanced with good complexity throughout. An enjoyable tripel. Jukkabro (3039), Tampere, Finland

Hazy golden, good white head, lace. Aroma of apples and lemon. Good strong body. Starts with tickling carbonation, then opens tasty citric flavors and finishes with alcoholic touch. Some citric acid in the aftertaste. Balanced, good triple, straightforward.
