grawk (1), Yardley, Pennsylvania, USA does not count May 14, 2004 This is a wonderfully complex beer that bis best served at about 55F in a good tulip shaped glass. Below that it loses a lot of the depth. bostonbeerguy (1), Nottingham, New Hampshire, USA does not count Jun 21, 2008 This remains to be my favorite beer. I have yet to find something more satisfying and enjoyable. CannonFodderNJ (1), New Jersey, USA does not count Jan 10, 2006 Smooth, warm and inviting... a smooth drink with a fine aftertaste... I fully enjoy the stronger flavours of the end of the bottle. Quick a delightful drink to sit down and relax with. JonMoore (1549), Loughborough, Leicestershire, England Jun 6, 2005 Deep golden colour with largish, steady white head. Nice aroma of yeast, fruit malt and perhaps some hops. Taste is more to my liking than most tripels, better balanced and nicely complex. Fruity, spicey and malty, medium carbonation, dryish with a long fruity, bitter finish. Excellent. cathcacr (513), Portland, Oregon, USA Sep 30, 2005 DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-lish! Well-done Tripels are fabulous. Pretty much everything good you’d expect in this style. Bottle says to pour the yeast in with the rest if you want a nutty flavor, and I do, and there is one. I’m surprised that Tripels aren’t everyone’s favorite style. This or St. Bernie’s is my favorite of this style.
