Bottle. The aroma is sour-fruity, then it gets sweeter and reminds me a little bit of fresh bread. The head is rather large, white and foamy-creamy with a normal duration. The body is clear and orange-red. The taste is light bitter, later during the finish it gets more medical and unfortunately also metallic. The body is dry and medium strong with a lively carbonation.

750ml swing-top bottle, 9.5% ABV, from Vinmonopolet, shared as an aperitif at a Romjulsparty. Gives a good shot and smoke when opened. Decent, beige head slowly fading over a slightly cloudy, golden body. Earthy malts in aroma with spices behind. Tart apples and sweet banana in flavour supported by yeasty fruitiness and a little peppery touch. Strong, but still rather smooth drinking (Tromsø, 30.12.2009).

Afflingem Tripel 750ml Corked brown bottle Pours gold yellow with a hazy finish. Medium to light creamy white head with some nice lacing on the glass. Has a sweet yeasty aroma with a pinch of hops and some alcohol. Flavor of sweet yeast, alcohol and a slight metallic taste( though not displeasing). Not a super complex beer. Approachable, but not outstanding. Above average.

Bottle. Aroma of sweet hop and yeast... golden hazy body with plenty of carbonation and a thin lasting head... Flavor is initially sweet and similar to a saison, nice balance of fruit and spices, with notes of hops and yeast.. a very nice triple

750mL into tulips. Pours a fairly clear yellow with yeast floaties and a faily large, white head with good retention. Good sheety lacing. Aroma is excellent: apple pie, strawberry kiwi, booze, maple syrup, candi sugar, white pepper. Fruity, yummy. Taste is very sweet, grainy, a bit watery; contrived. Palate is creamy, a bit cloying. Some warming at the end.
