Bottle generously given to me by omhper (Thanks Per!). Unfortunately, Jess accidentally gave this bottle a kick while we were at Akkurat and the cap’s seal broke. Well, we made the most of the situation by drinking it as soon as we made it back to the hostel. Pours dark red with a trace of off-white head. Aroma is very sweet, dark fruity and showing its age a bit. Taste has a big malty sweetness, some chocolate, more plums and raisins, and a slight cardboard taste. Additionally, this had a bit of sour twang to it, which was a bit unexpected. Somewhat thin on the palate and finished with more chocolate and fruit. Color me a fan.

Bottle. Dark tawny/brown color. Pastry shop nose (sweet fruits, breadiness) with a touch of funk. Flavor is mainly sour and funk, with some touches of chocolate and butterscotch. Pretty much a contaminated brew, but still has some enjoyable character to it.

Bottle @ Yespr tasting.
[thank you, omhper]
Pours a muddy red with a small creamy beige head. Super aroma. Port, caramel, very deep (over)ripe fruits, light tobacco leaves and light viniousness. Super creamy and oily mouthfeel. Flavour is despicably well-rounded with ripe fruits, chocolate, viniousness and tobacco. I find it amazing that a cellaring brew like this encompasses the high alcohol percentage so damn well.

33 cL bottle, thanks to thewolf. Pours hazy amber to brown and with a lacing off-whie head. Wineousnand overripe fruit. Flavour is thick fruity, slight acidic. Solid caramel malt flavour, dense overripe fruit flavour. Goes into a dry and mild chocolate smooth finish.
