Commercial Description:
"Lovely clean roasty aroma with delicious notes of mocca. Lightly dry and clean flavour with a great deal of complexity and a good, balanced bitterness. A typical dry irish stout, only better."
This was the judges sentiment of the beer created by Erik Rönnqvist which won the Swedish Homebrewing Championships in 2002. In cooperation with Ahlafors Bryggerier this beer is now available for the public.

Bottle. About 6 years old. Pours a black color with a longlasting tan head. Has a sweet roasted malty aroma with some hint s of chocolate. Sweetish malty roasted flavor with some hints of chocolate and licorice. Has a roasted malty finish.

Draught at The Bishops Arms, Gothenburg, Sweden. Firm, but almost frothy head. Really freshlooking! A fresh, yeasty flavor with a touch of smoke. Definately my kind of stout!

On Draught at The Bishops Arms, Göteborg, Sweden. Black. Frothy head. Full aroma of chocolate and coffe. Very tasty, medium dry, roasted feel and with a flowery finish. This one is surprisingly fine!

Sampled cask conditioned at Oliver Twist, Stockholm.
Dark black with beige head. Rich aroma of dark chocolate and coffee. Medium dry and light bodied, but still firm and soft. Superbly balanced with a flowery bitter finish. Very fresh and sensationally good. I can only hope this is not a once of brew.
