yngwie (4880), Kristiansand, Norway Aug 2, 2008 Bottle at 3 Små Rum, as Ahle SommarSpetz. Pours a nice, clear, copper body with a beige head. Heather, myrica gale, camphor, piney hops and some maltyness in the aroma. The flavor is herbal and sweet, with caramel and some bitterness. Medium body and a herbal finish. The aroma of the beer was very promising, but unfortunately the flavor didn’t follow up. Due to the herbs, it’s a kinda strange beer, but with good drinkability. A potpourri of herbs partying sensibly inside my mouth. They’re all behaving in an orderly fashion but somehow it’s still fun. Nice unexpected kick to the finish.
