Bottle Magnum, Göteborg Brought this one to a testing - 20 beers were involved so I didn’t get the full story in yet. Luckely saved one so I can add a bit more info later on... Bought 2 of the 250 pcs magnum that were produced this year (2009). (Only to order frome the warehouse at SB) - Ahle have that advantage that you can order singel bottles Odd fruity flavors and a sourbitter aftertaste! Bottle 2 2009-11-08 AP: Black ruby red, light brownish heavy head (almost deminishing) AR: brown suggar F: brown suggar, a bit soure, tastes a bit like porter but not really, full body AF: a bit soure (perhaps du to BBD is 20090801???)

Bottle BBE June 08. Pours dark brown and somewhat cloudy, Light brown foam. Creamy and buttery aroma. Some caramelly Notes and a hint of chocolate. Sour tang in the background.Big mouthfeel. Very creamy with a sourish burnt bitterness. Medium big body. Balanced slightly towards bitterness. I wonder how long it will stay fresh?

(Bottle) Pours a beautiful dark reddish brown with a light brown head. Big butterscotch aroma with some caramel and milk chocolate notes. Sweet liquorice and grassy hops are also present. If you concentrate you might pick up some hints of landfill. The flavour is also full of butterscotch tones alongside notes of milk chocolate and roast/toast. Some grassiness. The mouthfeel quite smooth and mild. Some sour notes both in the aroma and flavour. Medium bodied.

rbesg06, bottled. purple with a light beige head. aroma reminded me of port - sultanas and vanilla pod. quite thin with some slightly rusty bitterness, quite good

Bottle at RBESG-06,GTN. Dark brown colour with a light brown head. Aroma is roasted, caramel. Flavour is roasted, caramel, sweet,spices.

Bottled at RBESG-06, GTN. Unclear, dark brown beer with a tan head. Spiced aroma with prunes and roasted notes. Caramel, spices, prunes and roasted notes in the flavor is followed by a sweet, dry and bitter finish. Medium to thin body. (060826)

[At RBESG 2006] A hazy deep red beer with a huge brown head. The aroma is sweet and very spicy combined with notes of caramel and berries. The flavor is sweet with strong berry notes, combined with notes of malt, light alcohol, and dusty hops. The end is dry and the berry note carries all the way thru.

(Bottle 75 cl) Clear, reddish mahogany with a handsome, beige head. Lightly sweet, roasted malt aroma. Medium body with plenty of sweet, roasted malt with a discreet, metallic edge. But overall quite pleasant. Perhaps it could do with a bit more hoppiness for balance. 260806
