Luscious aroma of hops, flowers, pepper and citrus. Hoppy, very much flowery flavor. Thinnish with a hint of cardboard. Swing top bottle.

Feb 20, 2008 Bottle. Grass and butterscotch aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Grass and butterscotch flavor. Very different - the most diacetyl flavor of any German beer I’ve ever had.

Dec 12, 2007 Ein recht gewöhnliches Bier, muss man sagen. Die Flasche ziemlich unproportional und wenig ansprechend. Das Bier an sich finde ich ziemlich lasch und die Bezeichnung "hopfig" ist nicht ganz gerechtfertigt. Gesamtnote muss ein "mittelmäßig" bleiben.

Feb 5, 2006 Swing-top bottle: Golden coloured, small but lacing white head; sweet-malty, a bit bready nose with a distinctive touch of honey, aromatic hops also detectable; soft bitter-sweet flavour, quite light bodied; mild, but distinctive, lingering bitter-sweet finish. Pleasant, the mix of honey and aromatic hops reminds of a Bohemian Pilsener.............
