Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 31, 2008 (Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Clear pale golden with a white head. Aroma of malt and chicory. Light and watery with light malt accents, perfume and cardboard. The finish is dry. Not too bad for a "Sin". 220608 yespr (6162), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jul 2, 2008 33 cL clear bottle, bought in a kiosk near Sagrada Familia, Barcelona - I was specifically asked (in catalan) if I really wanted this bottle - hell year. I guess buying it together with a bottle of Bock-Damm must have looked strange.
Pours clear and golden yellow with a lacing white head. Dry cornish aroma. Flavour is mild grainy and light hoppy. Dry and with a mild bitterness. Ends dry and with a mild spice/cardboardish. JensenTaster (1480), Denmark Jan 5, 2008 (on bottle)This beer has a very strange aroma. Very high on the mais, but like when you get one of those burnt, black cornflakes, theres also a very roasty and dry thing to it.Otherwise a thin bodied, rather well carbonated beer. Citrus notes in finish.
