Dark ruby brown. Tart, rotten fruit and cola nose. Earthy, with some molasses but again it’s a little long in the long maybe.

Deep dark warm brown with tan head. Aroma is chocolate, cocoa, earthy. Soft mouthfeel. A little sourness ruins the palate but otherwise is a nice beer. Maybe it was past its prime. Still, the nice sweet chocolate-cherry malt flavors. A good effort.

Tap. Strong apple/cherry caramel malt aroma with just a hint of astringency. Red-brown color with minimal head. Caramel cherry malt flavor with a very light astringent finish. A great malty aroma and finish. Usually one doppelbock is enough for a night but this one is so drinkable I could drink it all night.. Great stuff.
