harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Apr 8, 2004 This was overall a pretty tasty porter. Nice lingering flavors of chocolate mocha, with some toasted malt, and a surprising bit of hops in there as well. Tasty.
BlackDonald (1039), North Carolina, USA Jun 5, 2008 This was kind of a disappointment. Very light bodied with very small carbonation levels, very tame roastiness with small amounts of chocolate and a hint of dark roasted coffee. Very thin and bland. The_Beer_God (2855), Newport News, Virginia, USA Apr 13, 2008 Growler on St. Patrick’s Day. I was told this was Aiken Porter. Dark pour. Almost no head though. No idea how long this was in the growler. Nose is roasted malts, chocolate, and bitter coffee. Taste is dark chocolate, roasted malts, and coffee. Body is medium with light to no carbonation. Ends with more roasted malts, dark chocolate coffee and subtle hop bitterness. fordest (1759), Santee/San Diego, California, USA Dec 6, 2007 GABF. Roasty aromas off this dark porter. Flavors fell off a bit. Some coffee, maybe, but not a lot. Somewhat dissapointing kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Oct 21, 2007 Date: 10/13/2007
