Apr 22, 2006 Tap. Caramel/toffee malt and light hops aroma. Reddish amber color with moderate head - very pretty. Creamy caramel malt flavor with a mild hops finish. Very good.

Nov 4, 2003 Nice, nutty, hoppy aroma. Superb, rich brown-red with creamy head. Lightly sweet, nutty, well-hopped. Good mouth, but goes a little flat. Quick woody, medium hoppy finish.

Jan 10, 2007 Growler. Poured a hazy dark orange copper color with a small off-white head. The aroma was mildly hoppy with notes of oranges and some citrus with a sweet candy malt underneath. Malty cereal flavor with some citrus and sweet fruit. There was a hint of tartness on the finish.

Flavor is slightly sweet toasted nut that has those unique British dry, earthy hop and yeast flavors that increase slightly in the middle and finish. Light-medium body and dry palate.
