Light hazy gold color with white head & lacing. The aroma is musty with some citrusy hops (aged?) not very fresh with a bit of caramel. Finishes dirty and wet, like a wet dog.

Jun 5, 2008 Unmistakeable nose of piney citrus hops, with a hint of caramel malt, slightly biscuity with lots of resiny bitterness from the hops, not overpowering, pretty well balanced and crisp. Decent enough

Mar 27, 2008 on draft in charleston. copper blond body- fluffy ivory head. nice blend of hops and malt. hits a great sesson middle ground. this town rocks... its great to find a respectabol local beer on draft after many many years of looking.

Sep 21, 2007 Draft. Golden with a creamy, lasting head. Aroma is a blend of nutty malt, pine resin and some citrus. The flavor starts with the nutty malt, and moves to the smooth blend of evergreen, citrus and earthy hop for a crisp finish. Light-medium and smooth, with a dry-finishing palate. Beats Sierra Nevada draft anytime.

makes a nice flavorable session pale ale

Feb 15, 2007 Tap @ brewery. I think they were trying for a Sierra Nevada-esque ale but failed. Still, not too bad. Aroma had a decent piney, honey scent. Color was a wheat penny copper. Lacing held out throughout the session. I was expecting more, but still not a bad brew overall, In fact, of the three brews I tried at this sitting, this was the best of the bunch.
