Jun 5, 2009 On tap @ La Bella’s: The initial aroma was weak and hard to sniff out but there was evidence of malt and a faint background of nuts. The amber was a glowing dark red that was topped with a thin and brittle layer of head. Flavor was bland and simply composed of cheap caramelized malt and nutty taste similar to a brown ale.

Apr 15, 2009 1st rating of this brew, on tap @ Wit’s End Pub in Hill Crest. Pours a clear medium amber with a nice off white head that left decent lacing. Nose was nutty with some toasted malts and light hops. Flavor was mostly toasted malts with a slightly bitter finish.
