33cl bottle. It poured a dark orange colour with a medium big foamy head that settled down slowly in the glass. It has a spicy aroma that smells of citrus, cinnamon and malts. The aroma is slightly bitter and tastes of cinnamon, caramel and water. It has a short aftertaste.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep orange to amber with a slowly collapsing tan head. Mild citrus fruity and spiced aroma. Flavour is fruity and solid spiced. Holds a spiced bite in the finish. Otherwise smooth and fruity flavour. Lingering spiced finish.

Sold under private label, but it must be this beer: alcohol % fits and I know this beer was from Strubbe. Large bottle. Thick long lasting frothy head. Caramel and cacao, cinnamon. Sweetish with some porto flavors, probably because of ageing, this bottle was pretty old.Medium to full bodied, a bit sticky and a bit too much cinnamon.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear amber golden with an off-white head. Fine if somewhat oxidized caramel aroma. Medium body with dry notes of caramel. Finishes dry. Has a somewhat unclean edge every now and then. 310109

Brussels, Cafe Delirium, Nov 2004. Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly lasting. Body is medium amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted bread/grain), lightly hoppy (flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Bit better than expected, although I thought this was actually brewed in Africa. Appears it’s just another one like Mongozo and Dju Dju.

Bottle. Clear amber body with an off white head. Not much more than simple fruit and caramel in aroma and flavour. Plain simple yet very drinkable.
