Oct 7, 2008 previously tested on German BTO 02/2007: Die Brauerei mit den längsten Biernamen: eigentlich heißt dieses Bier "Aktienbrauerei Kaufbeuren Leichtes Weizen Kaiser Maximilian I."
Wie der Name schon verrät handelt es sich um ein leichtes Hefeweizen.
Sehr trüb, viel stabiler Schaum - besser gehts nicht.
Malzig-hefiger Geschmack, erstaunlich ausgeprägt für ein leichtes Weizen. CO2-Dosierung ist auch gut, insgesamt ein höchst süffiges leichtes Weizen. Gehört zu den besten Leichtbieren, die ich bis jetzt probiert habe!

Sep 17, 2008 Bottle. Banana, clove and wheat malt aroma. Slightly hazy yellow-brown color with moderate head. Light banana and wheat malt flavor - watery finish. Decent but typical bland light Hefe.

Jun 12, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours pale and cloudy yellow with a slowly collapsing white head.Vague wheat aroma. Flavour is mild acidic with a light wheaty base and a mild yeasty/estery note on top. Ends with a mild acidic note into a dry finish.

Mar 27, 2008 Bottled(500ml). -The waitress poured it from bottle on the bar. In Kainz Restaurant near Neuschwanstein Castle.
Hazy lemon coloured, sopay white head, acidic yeasty and odd parmesan cheese nose. Lighter hefe weizen that tastes quite nice but the lack of alcohol is obvous.

Jan 8, 2008 (on bottle)A hefe without much punch, but a nice aroma to it. The latter means, in my case, a vague bananatone and a slight roast of malts. The beer is pale yellow, nice big head. Wellcarbonated, but the lack of alcohol leaves a hole in the mouthfeel not retreated by anything the beer can offer.
