beerguy101 (3488), Newark, California, USA Apr 1, 2006 This weizenbock pours a light toffee brown color from a 500ml bottle. Large sized white foamy head. Aroma is malt, caramel and sweet. A medium to light bodied weizenbock. Malts are caramel and toffee. Seems a little thin in the mouth. A light and refreshing, slightly sweet, easy drinking weizenbock. Hides the 7.2% alcohol well. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
steview (779), Oceanside, California, USA Oct 5, 2008 quickly dissipating head that leaves murky brown haziness with random flakes--it looks like runny excrement; dark wheat beer with cherry and apple fruitiness, some spice, and tartness; good, but too tangy; meh. Papsoe (10285), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 3, 2008 (Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Hazy golden with a dense off-white head leaving some laces. Clean and malty nose with a whiff of sweet fruit. Full-bodied with sweet and citrusy notes. Lightly tart finish. Somewhat disappointing - clearly there’s a lingering infection underneath. 180808 joergen (6529), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 20, 2008 Bottle.
