Feb 6, 2006 This was a decent beer. Pour was a cloudy, orangy color with a head that went very quick. A very toffee like aroma with some sweet fruit in the nose also. Delicate malt characters with hints of overipe bananna, pear and plums. In the finish I thought I could detect some smoke but alas, it was awful faint to be sure. A really, really nice beer that is also very hard to find.

Aug 4, 2005 Bottle, 02/04. Pours dark nut brown with a small frothy tan fizzy head. Sour yeast (sweat) fruit lemon hop caramel nut malt lightly roasted malt (hay, straw). Bitter acidic lemon malt body with a spicy finish. Medium bodied and lively carbonation.

Mar 27, 2008 Bottled(500ml). -The waitress poured it from bottle on the bar. In Kainz Restaurant near Neuschwanstein Castle.
Muddy brown coloured, wheaty cinnamon nose. Malty, light yeast and dried fruity aroma with notes of cinnamon and toffee. Slightly acidic finish. Goes well with Kaiserschmarren (pancakes with raisins and apple sauce).

Sep 13, 2002 Brown hue, disappointing foam. Typical banana clove aroma with some fruity raisin malt. Fruity sweetness and bready malt on the palate, light fizziness. Overall dryness cuts through well. Pretty refreshing with decent flavor.
