Commercial Description:
Nutty malt flavors greet the nose while the palate is enlivened by the interplay of spicy German hops. This beer is both rich tasting and agreeably light-bodied and features a lively dry finish with moderate bitterness.

Small head. Dark amber/mahogany color. Still malty. Hops all over this one, linger through the finish. Can't complain about beers like this.

On Tap at 2005 OBF. Dark Amber color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is malt, fruit and cinnamon. A medium bodied Alt. Malts are fairly sweet and a touch spicy, mostly cinnamon and nutmeg. Hops are slightly spicy and not very bitter. It’s a touch watery and a little bland. Smooth taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Dark orange color. Very festive and musty nose of wood, harsh hay and grass. Flavor and mouthfeel is a crisp and smooth light grass.

Amber with a little white head, and spotty lacing. Lager malt qualities, small dough and light citrus hops (lemons.) Flavor has more malts in it. Bittering hops with citrus and earthy hops. Tangy malt body, and a bitter alcohol finish.

From a 22-oz bottle and at Brewery in PDX--Poured a mild amber body with a moderate white head. Rich malty sweet nose and flavor. Crispy and finished quite grainy. Good stuff.
