BückDich (4558), Boise, Idaho, USA Feb 4, 2004 Pale straw color with no head & a little lacing. The aroma is lightly malty with a fresh feel to it. The flavor is tangy again, slightly medicinal. Good fresh flavors, just a little bland.
DA (2472), Portland, Oregon City, Oregon, USA Aug 31, 2008 On tap at the brewery. Pale gold with a smooth white head. I thought this was one of their better done beers, fairly hoppy golden with a crisp and softly spicy hop finish. Not a whole lot to this, but a nice golden. Angeloregon (2001), Portland, Oregon, USA Aug 26, 2008 On tap at Brewery--Thin dull straw body with a rich white head. Cereal malt caramel nose and body. Clean and sessionable, but nothing whatsoever to write home about. I’d still drink this puppy most any day. Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 14, 2008 Draft. A hazy orangey beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty - a quite light aroma. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and a light touch of fruit, leading to a slightly bitter finish. Boring. BlackDonald (1039), North Carolina, USA Jun 5, 2008 Crisp and clean, and slightly generic, but not really a Kolsch to me. Spicy herbal hoppiness, with a touch of honey sweet maltiness. Really light and clean, a good opening beer. BuckeyeBoy (1181), Boise, Idaho, USA Jan 12, 2008 On Tap at Alameda Brewing Co. Portland, OR Pours out a clear gold topped with a small white head. A slight hint of hops but some nice malt on this one. Not bad.
