Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 5, 2006 Orangey-amber colour. Passion fruit, tangerine, peach in the hop-forward aroma. Moderate bitterness. Woody, lightly toasty, with big grapefruit/pommelo notes. Finishes very dry and hoppy. Volgon (2462), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Jul 27, 2004 RBSG 2004: Clear orange with medium sized particles, that sits under a small creamy white head. Starts moderately bitter and ends less bitter. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. mikebeertaster (89), vancouver, Washington, USA Mar 23, 2004 Overall not a bad IPA. Has a good bitter kick. Good overall flavor. Flavor lasts awhile which is good since I like to taste my beer even after I am done. A nice clear amber color. jsquire (1899), St. Marys, Ohio, USA Jul 28, 2004 On tap at the pub. Light amber color with a small off-white head. Fresh floral hop nose. Strong malt backbone with pineapple, grapefruit and lots of hops on top. I liked it better then some of the others at the table, apparently. beerguy101 (3488), Newark, California, USA Jul 24, 2004 Medium orange color. Small head. Aroma is fruity and sweet. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are fairly aggressive, grapefruity and piney. Nicely balanced. Smooth taste. Touch of orange and citrus. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is bitter with a long bitter aftertaste that takes a while to show up.
