Commercial Description:
A refreshing brew made in the American wheat beer style with wheat and pilsner malts blending perfectly in this light, creamy ale. The malted wheat gives this beer a surprising complexity, while imported European hops give it a pleasing finish. The wheat is a stand-alone beer, or have a pint with our Turkey Sandwich.

Hazy blond color with a light head, some lacing. the aroma is citrusy & floral with a touch of crisp wheat. Flavor is a tad tangy/sour with a nice finish, very drinkable with loads of malt & light hops. A good american wheat, solid, but lacking in the complexities like the german hefes.

On tap at the brewery. Very bland american wheat, watery on the palate, not much crispness to it at all. Light gold in color with a thin white head. A touch citrusy in the finish, very mild on the wheat, more so then Widmers. The lemon if added would just take over the whole flavor cause there was just nothing to this.

Pint at Alameda Brewing in Portland, OR--Poured a thick dark hazy golden bronzed body with a mild white head. Why are American Hefes always served with lemons? This beer was very reminiscent of Widmer and Pyramid. Mildly lemony. Tart, grassy, wheaty and somewhat yeasty. Dull chewy body though very drinkable. Some graininess but overall blah! Move on.

Draft at the brewpub. An unclear orangey beer with a thin lazing white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of lemon and wheat. The flavor is sweet wheaty combined with notes of lemon, leading to a dry wheaty and bitter finish.

Hazy golden pour, with a small white head. Fresh hay and leaves in the nose, slightly earthy, with a bit of banana fruit, and a hint of spice. Really tame with some chewy cereal grains. Pretty easy to drink.

On Tap at Alameda Brewing Co. Portland, OR Pours out a hazy straw color topped with a white head. A pretty good aroma of bananas almost like a hef. Tast was good with more bananas. A pretty nice mix of malts as well.
