A mild malt aroma with a grassy hoppiness. Flavor has a nice malty presence, light floral and grassy hops middle and ends with a nice hop bitterness. Density was good. Overall a decent amber that leans towards the hoppier side of the amber style with a solid malt ending. sethdude (609), St. Louis, Missouri, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 29, 2008 Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a clear orange/amber color with a thin beige head that diminishes quickly. Rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is mildly malty with touches of citrus and hops. Light-bodied with grainy malt and caramel flavors, and subtle piney hops present as well. The finish is malt and toffee with a lingering mild hops aftertaste. Decent overall. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 31, 2007 Draft sampler. Malty amber smell with a good copper color. First beer I’ve had here that shows American hops; not at APA strength, bit a bit of citrus and pine to make it interesting. 37steel (186), St. Charles, Illinois, USA
