Commercial Description:
Richly malty and long on the palate, with just enough hop backing to make this beautiful amber colored "alt" style beer notably well-balanced.

Beer pours a rich orange/copper color with an off white sticky head. initial flavors are fruity and tangy, with hints of citrus, in particular lemon, with s dry spicy hoppiness that blends the first flavors nicely with the buttery, toasty biscuity flavors that come second. Mouthfeel is smooth and rich, yet drinkable. overall a very delicious beer. This is what Fat Tire wishes it could be...

Pours an attractive copper color with a thin off white head that dissaptes rather quickly. Sweet caramel malts dominate the nose, but there is a small hint of light spice as well. Tastes of toasted biscuits, a nice grain characteristic, and light hops. Nicely caramalized malts are the backbone to this beer. A very nice balance between malts and hops. Rather light bodied, but plenty of flavor.

Poured a very solidly amber color with very little carbonation and no head retention other than a scant ring of bubbles remaining around the glass. Very sweet malty aroma, a bit of caramel and brown sugar, a hint of dried fruits (raisins, dates). Similarly sweet malty, slightly acidic/fruity, a hint of caramel, brown sugar, and a bit of hops (but not much). Very rich flavors for a lower gravity beer. The mouthfeel is soft, sweet, a bit fuzzy from the carbonation, and pretty dry and clean at the finish. Overall this is a beer with some imperfections, but still solidly drinkable and enjoyable.

22 oz bottle. The beer poured a dark amber with a fizzy head. Smell of roasted malt and grain. the taste is good, not over powering but nice taste of sweet malt and mild hops. Carbonation was a little weak but a fine brew none the less.

Pours a dark but clear amber with a minimal head and a freshly sparged grain aroma, very raw and malty. Tastes like a Maibock, very bready and sweet. Decent carb, body is reasonable thick, not bad but I’ve had better Altbiers. Thanks to G for the trade!

Bottle, thanks to Buckeyeboy. Pours a very nice looking amber with minimal off-white head... Has a light pleasing aroma of caramel, hops, I wish it was slightly stronger. Flavor of light caramel and hops, with nice slight hoppy bitter. Mouth feel was medium body, high carbonation. Not bad at all....wish I had another.....

12oz bottle: pours amber brown with quick fading white head, aroma pretty weak but if anything some barley, flavor is very mild with hints of slightly sweet pale malt and well balanced with hops.

Ruby colored, rather than amber. Aroma of toffee, banana + white grape fruits, sour hops. Sweet, doughy malts. Taste of white wine + nuts up front, pastry and carmel lighlty toasted malty mid, toffee. Finish is metalic and lackluster. Palate is overcarbonated for my tongue. It’s drinkable, I’ve just played it out I guess.
