DTM (541), Winters, California, USA Jan 17, 2008 Updated: Apr 20, 2008Poured an a clear amber color with mimimal head. A little bitter to start, but smooths out. Easy to drink and went down smooth. Sweet and malty taste. All in all a pretty good beer. timfoolery (482), California, USA Jan 16, 2008 On tap at the Grad. This one had some bitter overtaste, but it was basically malty and smooth. Light caramel, maybe apricot taste. billism (42), Missouri City, Texas, USA Jan 16, 2008 Thanks to Keith for bringing this back from a business trip in Washington. Pours clear amber. Medium to little head. Clean smell with notes of caramel and very light hop aroma. Full body feel. Sweet and malty. A good amber in my book. Capa (952), Yokosuka, Japan Jan 13, 2008 Bright copper with a solid off-white head. malty aroma. Tasted, sweet, crisp fruit, and light hops. Flavor is of a similar profile. Very clean and crisp although not all that exciting. Still, this is an easy to drink and tasty brew that I could stick with for an evening. JMFG (1514), Florida, USA Jan 11, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with very little head. Aroma of light toasted malts and subtle hops, but besides that a very clean aroma. Taste is a bit on the sweet side, but still very malty, with some caramel spiciness coming out on the back end. Palate is quite thick considering the 5% ABV. Very drinkable, but unexciting. jeremytoni (1067), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Jan 8, 2008 From the tap poured amber with a good amount of head. Nice smooth flavor and finish. runak6 (3), USA does not count Jan 7, 2008 This was the first beer I ever remember drinking and miss it out here on the east coast... jbean (110), Illinois, USA Jan 6, 2008 Bottle. Pours dark amber with nice off-white head w/ good retention. Aroma is toasty and biscuity with a note of bittering hops. Flavor lives up to the aroma, bisquity and not overly sweet, enough hops to clean the palate. One of my favorite session beers.
