Dec 1, 2007 Woody, nutty, sweet processed malt backbone. Mildly bittered with some light floral hopping. Earthy ensemble may turn people away bu regardless this is a decent drink.

Nov 29, 2007 This alt style helped shape my taste preferences in drinking beer over the last 10 years. First drank it in Anchorage at Gwennie’s, have developed a fondness for this beer, going out of my way to bring it back to Texas where it’s not currently distributed. Pours to a rich amber color, tastes like it was directly from Dusseldorf. Easily my favorite.

Amber color. The aroma is quite simple, the flavor too, some sweetness, light caramel. Not bad, but without interest.

Nov 18, 2007 bottle. Pours a dark amber color with a light fizzy off-white head. Aroma is sweet with a strong caramel aroma. The flavor has malty with an earthy hop and caramel on the crisp finish. The finish is a bit bitter but finishes nice.
