Smells malty and nutty, tastes the same with some slight caramel. Light hops are welcome. The malt is pretty good in this one, pretty flavorful and not too watery. It’s not a beer that’s going to change your life but I like it a lot more than the other ambers I’ve had. dankman38 (228), Somewhere in, Ohio, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 16, 2007 Aroma is a nice caramel like malt scent. Color is a slightly hazy brown with good carbonation and a thin head. Taste is sweet and malty. Starting with a medium body it goes down with a smooth creamy feel. Finish comes on with a malty mouth feel that turns sweet and ends with a mild bitterness. Its a nice malty brew that comes off easy and well balanced. brianjames1 (322), Northridge, California, USA

A good go to beer that can usually be found at any local bar or liquor store that doesnt carry many craft brews. Deep amber color with small white head, carmel malt flavors and little hop aroma. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA

Smell is nice and toasty sweet malt and toffee. Mouthfeel is very smooth and creamy. Tastes is good and heavily on the malty side of ambers. No real sign of hops to speak of, but it is a nice, tasty easy drinking beer. I definitely enjoyed this one.
