Commercial Description:
Richly malty and long on the palate, with just enough hop backing to make this beautiful amber colored "alt" style beer notably well-balanced.

On tap at the brewery. Got the history and its more impressive than the beer. A little darker and heavier than I expected. Not as malty as an altbier. Not bad, just not as good as the pale.

Pours an nice amber brown with thin white head. Smell is very sweet and malty. Taste is sweet, of honey and caramel. Medium carbonation that leaves the palate quenched. A little too sweet for my liking would like more of a hop presence but a decent amber ale.

Red amber translucent color with a fast fading white foam head. A medium amount of carbonation is visible. Your typical looking red ale. A light vanilla and honey malt aroma very delightful. Malty sweet taste full of honey and lacking a sense of hops. Palate is quenching ut not watery. Tasty, hearty, but ultimately unevenly sweet.

I tried this while on vacation in Las Vegas, coming back from Hawaii. I don’t have specific notes about the beer, but I remember it being slightly above average and I remember being excited to try a beer from Alaska!

A slightly muddy, brown ale with a thick foam of beige. Loads of caramel in the aroma. This is so sweet smelling it makes my teeth hurt. In the mouth it is sweet and juicy with loads of fruit characters. Apples and a big hit of golden syrup. Smooth and almost still this beer is just way too sweet.

A pretty nice little beer, pouring (of course) a rich amber and with s smallish, off-white head that didn’t last very long. Aroma is rather subdued, but the taste is mildly malty with some hop as well. Smooth and refreshing, I’d like more of these.

The color is dark and clear. It has a faint alcohol aroma. The flavor is light and lagerish with malt and cherries. The finish is crisp.
